Built in 1790's. Modified in 1823 for H. C. Selby. to a design by John Dobson (possibly just stables and cottage). Sold to the Duke in 1866. Grounds became Golf Course in 1914. House demolished in 1975.

Current building is a modern 5 bedroom detached house dating from 1974
