ALNWICK. SALE OF IMPORTANT FREEHOLD PROPERTY.  
THOS. ROBERTSON and SONS, LTD., instructed by Mr William Robertson, will offered for SALE BY AUCTION, in the WHITE SWAN HOTEL, ALNWIOK, on MONDAY, thé 7th day of April, 1913, at Three o’clock in the Afternoon, subject to conditions then to be produced,  The Substantial Stone-built and Desirable FREEHOLD RESIDENCE known as “ THORNHILL,” standing in its own grounds, about one mile from Alnwick Station, on the Alnmouth Road. It is pleasantly situated with a Southern aspect, and commands an extensive view of the Aln Valley.  The House consists of Fine Entrance Hall and Three Large Rooms on the Ground Floor.  On the First Floor, there are Six Bedrooms and Bathroom, and w.c.  On the Ground Floor there is also a good Kitchen with Modern Range and Sink; also, a Large Back Kitchen, also fitted with Sink and Range, Good Larder, w.c., and Coal-house. “ Also, convenient Wine Cellar. The Back Staircase leads from kitchen premises to Two gooa Servants’ Bedrooms.
