Derelict properties to get a £500,000 facelift 

A series of derelict stone built properties between Alnwick Castle and the town centre, to the rear of the main shopping area along Narrowgate, are to be brought back into use through a £500,000 revitalisaton project.

The Bow Alley scheme will create seven one and two-bedroom flats for rent, two town houses for sale and two shop umts The project being carned out jointly by Alnwick Distnct Council, the trustees of the Duke of Northumberland, Newcastle based housing association; Nomad ‘Housing Group and DP Builders Ltd.
