CANONGATE 1. 5330 (East Side) Canongate Bridge NU 1813 NW 3/35 NU 11 SE 8/35 20.2.52. I 2. 1821. Ashlar. Three river arches and one land arch at south end. Moulded hood moulds to arches; circular panel is in spandrels. Parapet wall curves at south end.

DENWICK B 6346 NU 11 SE 10/45 Canongate Bridge over the River Aln 10.1.53 II Bridge, 1821. Squared stone. 3 segmental arches; low triangular cutwaters, moulded arch ring. Round-headed road arch on south. Moulded roundels in spandrels and string below parapet, which has shallow pilasters on each face, moulded coping and square end piers with moulded flat caps. Partly in Alnwick U.D.
