Description
CLAYPORT STREET 1. 5330 (South Side) Pant outside Westgate House NU 1813 SW 4/214 II 2. 1755. Low and square; built of ashlar with coved and ogee top, partly asphalted, with ball finial. Pipe in worn out stone tank from ogee panel containing the chamberlains' names: Hr William Hindmarsh, Mr Robt. Richardson, Mr Edw. Bell and one obscured (i.e. about mid C18).
